Our Kikspot Fundraiser
What were we fundraising for and how does it work?
We needed funds so we got creative!
We've bootstrapped our way to a MVP (most viable product) and we're ready to take it live. In order to bring Kikspot to the D.C. market and beyond, we need some serious funding.
We decided to put on an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign prefaced with a launch party for that campaign!
We successfully crowdfunded over $6,000.00 in online contributions with our campaign that ended on March 25th, 2022.
This campaign was more than just the money (although the money helps). It once again validated our concept and strategy; It also laid the groundwork for an even more successful app launch.
The money we raised, in conjunction with other funds we raise, will be used on further app development, brand awareness, and expanding into Washington D.C. We expect to launch our app to the public via an app launch party by Fall 2022 (more to come on that).
This wasn't "free money." We see each and every campaign backer as a legitimate investor in our company. It's important to us that we update and report to them as such. We will not let any of our backers down. Company updates can be located by our backers on our Indiegogo campaign page.
